I had injured my hand several months ago and could not use my manual can opener. I purchased the Kitchen Mama 2.0 opener and it was the best-ever gift I could’ve got for myself! I can’t say enough good things about it but, I will say, if you are in the market to buy an opener, look no further! The Kitchen Mama openers are so amazing and work like a charm! Unique design! What I love the most about it, is how easy it is to use. You set it, press the button & walla !!! … it is done! It has a magnet which easily removes the top with no sharp edges that could cut you. I first became aware of the “Tes You Can” can opener while serving at a church in FL in the kitchen this past Winter. it was wonderful. When I left in March one of the ladies gave me one as a gift. I didn’t get a chance to use it until I got to VT to serve in a camp kitchen in May. When i tried it the one I had been given made a screeching sound and would not open the can. When I contacted Kitchen Mama and told them about what was happening and that it was a gift (so I did not have a receipt) they got back with me the very next day. They suggested I try some things but if that didn’t work I was to take a video and send it to them. They immediately shipped me out another one which works beautifully. I have never been so impressed with the quality of service and the friendly emails and the quick and competent service. I can’t thank you enough Kitchen Mama. I love the can opener!!!

Good communication and service in relation to order fulfilment. Performed well, when we first used it. Good instructions; relatively simple to use, although adding automatic shut-off would improve it. My wife and I are older; I have weakness and she has arthritis in our hands, so we are grateful to have this replacement for the manual can opener that we had used for many years.

Love this can opener! It’s even better than advertised, if possible. Planning on giving some for Christmas gifts. The people you really like, you want to get them something but usually at a loss to find that one thing they probably don’t have. This is your find for this year. Grab a few while you are thinking about it. But don’t forget to gift one to yourself! You will love it!
Shards of tin in food?

The second can I opened didn’t open all the way around. I did it a second time and it opened. While I was eating the contents I read that you shouldn’t do that because shards of tin could drop into the food!! What do you do instead?

I purchased the kitchen mama electric can-opener. I used it for the first time today, 4/27/2021, Tuesday. I was hungry, so I opened up a can of pork and beans and, it worked very well! It took me a little effort to open the lid, after it was cut, but it wasn’t that hard. I can’t wait to open more cans! Haha!

The can opener opens cans very well and I like that, but it is noisy and doesn’t stop when it has finished opening the can. I used to have a similar opener that did just that, and it wasn’t as noisy.
